Nvidia Preparing to Announce New GPU

Gamespot reports that Nvidia will announce its next-generation GPU on June 21st at a launch event in San Francisco. Invitations to the party were sent out to Nvidia partners, analysts and the press and promises an "evening of full-throttle entertainment." After the opening cocktails are served there will be a case-mod contest to be followed by the official press conference and product demonstration. All of this will be followed up with a relaxing Battlefield 2 LAN Party. Party sound familiar, deja vu? No, Nvidia held a party just like this last year when it announced the GeForce 6 GPU.
