No, I won't grow up.
 
Hell no, I won't grow up.
 
I'm not even going to age gracefully.  Screw that. 
 
I'm going to keep dying my hair un-natural and funky colors, and I'm going to enjoy my weird hair cuts and styles.
 
I'm going to wear clothes that are totally inappropriate for a woman my age. 
 
I'm going to get more tattoos and I may even throw in another piercing for good measure.
 
I'm not going to behave in an manner appropriate for my age. 
 
I'm not going to slide easily into my late thirties.  I'm going to show up late, wearing a mini skirt, fishnets and doc martens, my hair spiked and streaked with scarlet, and I'm going to hire the entire brass section of an orchestra to trumpet in my arrival.
 
Grow up?  Nope. 
 
Not gonna do it.

What I mean by that, Danny, is that women my age seem to be stuck in 1980 something, and I'm not. Jusr because I'm in my mid/late thirties, doesn't mean I have to stop wearing short skirts. If I have the legs to look good in a miniskirt, why the hell not? Apply that philosophy to the rest of my wardrobe...and you have my sense of style (or lack thereof, depending on how you look at it).

Well said, Dharma. I'm proud of the fact that my mother still says I'm the oldest teenager she knows. All it means is that I will never stop having fun, laughing at myself or being constricted by how others think I should behave.

Growing Up can be frightening!!! Yesterday I ran into an old friend tht went to grade school with me... she was OLD!!! Wrinkled and bent over .... She turned into her mother!!!
There are ways to remain purdy and fight those years from catching up with you...
