How about medals for Empires?

July 3, 2003 2:17 PM from

Does anyone like the idea of empires getting awarded medals? The medals could appear next to the empire logo, anywhere it appears on this site. An empire would have to have at least 3 (or 4, or whatever) members to be considered eligible. (No one person empire just to snag a highest average award)

Possible awards:
- Top Ten Empire
- First/Second/Third Place Empire
- Highest Average Member Ranking
- Most Members
- Most Good/Evil Empire

Other ideas?

Good ideas, LifeWish. Chris/Drop Bear harped on medals for top empires more than once.

But seems like it is all engines stop for the Metaverse for the moment. Maybe we would get some new stuff on the Meta if many more like you top up the SD kitty with 30 bucks.

Ray,
I understand that stardock has a full plate right now. I was just hoping to plant an idea (a 'Spell of Suggestion' as your ilk would call it) on the devs. Maybe if we bring it up now it can happen in the fall?
Who knows, perhaps the beta for the expansion pack will go so smoothly

that they will have some extra time to devote to the metaverse.

I certainly hope so, LifeWish. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
