Sniper Elite Puts Down North America

<FONT face=Arial color=#000000 size=2>Namco announced Friday that it will be publishing Sniper Elite (formerly Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945) in North America. The UK based Rebellion, developers of Alien vs. Predator and Rainbow Six: Lone Wolf, had not been able to find a North American publisher until now. <BR><BR>Sniper Elite puts you in the role of an American sniper whose been placed behind enemy lines to stop atomic research by the Germans from falling into the advancing Soviet hands. You are only given one disguise, a German uniform with which to fool both armies.<BR><BR>Sniper Elite will be sniping on PC, PS2 and Xbox in the fourth quarter of 2005.<BR><BR>"With their unparalleled survival skills, composure in the face of danger, and ruthless precision, snipers have captivated the minds of action fans for years," said Garry Cole, Executive Vice President of Namco Hometek Inc.
