Longhorn skinning

A sigh of relief

Whenever there's a new version of Windows there's always the concern that Microsoft is going to do something that's going to break us.

And with Longhorn being such a significant change to the Windows platform, we were doubly nervous.  But so far, so good. We've got WindowBlinds running fine under the latest available build of Longhorn (though the Start menu itself is a bit tricky because it's quite different).

Is that skinning in the XP style? Or have you managed to skin the Aero style? (I know Aero wasn't properly implemented in the latest WinHEC build...)

I wish you guys and MS could make a deal to include WindowBlinds and maybe SkinStudio with WinXP and later, or at least starting with Longhorn. It's always bothered me that there's a skinning/theming engine built right into Windows XP but you have to buy third party software or do a dll hack to even *use* user-created themes, let alone create your own.
