MAN!! I Miss mini-skirts

MAN!! I Miss mini-skirts

Micro-minis included

In the late 1960’s there was an explosion of legs.. long female legs,,smoooooooth female legs.

I used to go down to broad and wall street almost daily in the spring, summer and fall at lunch time, just to hang with some crazed friends and look at legs, white legs, black legs, tan legs, brown legs, yellow legs legs legs legs..

It seems like any female that could, would wear a mini or my fav a micro-mini, sigh
Afterwards we would go twist a couple up and I would ravage my eye candy of the month. { I was quite the slutboy in those days}

I MISS MINI’S………..and my youth too.. but most of all I miss constant excitement. ahhhhh those were the days my friend I thought they would never end, we would sit and laugh forever and a day.

if you'll remember, there were two waves of miniskirtism. the first was earlier in the 60s. the true golden age of miniskirts which first began to blossom in early 66 was totally different. that one did away forever with the pantygirdle and nylons (the newer minis were just too short for all that hardware). sadly within a year or so, some idiot invented pantyhose and even tho the skirts remained short for a lil while longer it wasnt really ever the same again. shortly thereafter nixon and maxiskirts took over and the two together and separately managed to wreak ruin and ugliness upon this great land.

I refuse to remember the "evil days" I am at the stage of life where "selective memories" are the better ones. see getting old and moldy does have its good points. hahaHHAAA

A mini-skirt comeback averages out to be a bad thing here in New Jersey. All the girls who would look good in them long ago moved to Connecticut or New York.

Funny how recollections are. I seem to remember that all the girls who should not wear them did! And I have never lived in NJ!

SEE there is an advantage to spending the time between 1966 and 1970 stoned, heh heh heh

I have to agree with Mason Elie. The mini is a staple in Florida. And the short, shorts. Even the daring ones that I see out there, makes me wonder why bother to wear anything then? Heh, heh!

BTW, it's not always humid and hot here it sometimes get really cool. Hurricane? I'm not looking forward to the upcoming season myself, but what can I say....it's an adventure?! (are you buying this )

My Mother moved down there and for the last 10 years laughed at me everytime we had an Ice Storm. Well, she lost the roof over her bedroom during the Hurricans (she got a direct hit by 2)) and still does not have one.

Now who is laughing?????

Yeah we lost part of our roof during the hurricanes too. But realistically, that doesn't happen very often. Snow and ice are yearly events for many.

Weather, sometimes very drastic weather, happens everywhere in some form or another. Personally I'd rather deal with the occassional hurricane which is usually just a bad rain storm more often than not, than annual bouts of freezing weather and snow for several months at a time.

And definately better than those monster twisters of the midwest.

But that's just me.

Been in everything except a tornado.  I prefer Hurricanes too, as at least you have warning.  The others (earthquakes, Twisters, Floods) usually strike without warning.

It is French (Ok! I am a frog). It means without class. The frrench equivalent of a peasant. Not that you are, but it sounded kind of snotty.
