Stupid......what does that word mean to you. This is what it means according to the dictionary:
1. Slow to learn or understand; obtuse.
2. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes.
3. Marked by a lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless: a stupid mistake.
4. Dazed, stunned, or stupefied.
5. Pointless; worthless: a stupid job.
But what one so happens to think is that the definition of stupid is everybody in the world except for her. And it drives me right up the wall. This person just constantly bitches about people not doing things the correct way, or whatever correct is in her eyes. People are not perfect. Duh. I think we all knew that. They're bound to make mistakes. We're all human. That's what we do. We just simply live and learn. For example. Somebody didn't know that the initials for the state of Massachusetts were MA. And even worse they couldn't spell it. Well they happen to be in a 10th grade college prep english class. I don't know who the person is. All I got from the bitching was that it's a guy. So what if they don't know how to spell it. Who freaking cares!!!! You shouldn't just go around complaining to the world only because one person made a mistake. Yes, I believe that you should know how to spell Massachusetts. But if you don't. Big whoop. I don't care.
I'm not going to mention the person who is saying we're all stupid. So if you know who it is don't say it. And if you don't know.....well....too bad. I would try talking to her. But she doesn't want to talk to me, so we'll leave it at that. But one thing I can't say is that I'm smarter than her. Because I really am not smarter than she is. I'm pretty sure she gets just about all A's. And she's always on high honor roll. I've only been on high honor roll three times since 4th grade. And there's been two times where I haven't been on honor roll at all. Maybe I'm not smarter than her according to the grades. But I do know that we're all human. We're not perfect. And we're prone to make mistakes.
The whole rhythm sheet thing in band today. Yea....after awhile it was kind of frustrating doing it over and over. But who cares. It's not like it's going to kill you. Just suck it up and deal with it! It's called life! Why don't people just try to live it?!?! Instead of going around complaining about what mistakes everyone else makes.
Shoot me if at anywhere in this thread that I'm wrong. Because I really don't think I am. But thinking that stupid means everyone except yourself is more like a matter of one's opinion. I don't really know if you can prove it. Well......yea...you can. Because if you weren't stupid and everyone else was....then that would make you perfect. But nobody is perfect.....so you can't be the only one that's not stupid. So I am right. But like I said if you can prove me wrong, then you can shoot me.
