System Tray in main dock

How to get a program to open from the windows system tray

In my windows sys tray i have a program, i want a shortcut to that program in the main dock (not the tabbed one) so when i click on it in the dock it maximizes that program and doesn't start a new program. something similar to the "switch to" function in task manager but i need it in od.
Any suggestions?

Open the Dock Properties > General > Advanced Options > "When shortcut is run, if program is already running, bring it to the foreground only"
This only works if you're using running indicators.

It doesn't work, i'm running emule and its set to minimise to sys tray, i want to get rid of my start menu so i suppose i could just set it to minimise to taskbar then it will also automatically appear in the dock, but if someone can find another alternative for the rest of the system tray.
thanks anyway Wisop, i'm sure the above comment helped.

ummmm, im not sure if i understand what your talking about... but if your trying to do stuff with the system tray you could try other stardock programs like Object Bar or NextStart or even LiteStep. Try em out they may work better for u.

Try creating a seperate dock just for the System Tray. It should be a normal dock not a tabbed oneThat's the way I use mine.
Under the Dock Contents tab just choose to show the systray. I've got mine set to small icons and no magnification so they stay out of the way.
