Ok...I have a few questions that need to be answered. I've gone through this wonderful game twice already...playing both easy and difficult settings, and now, I crave more. First off...I hear there is a map editor...WHERE?! That would be awesome to be able to make your own maps and stars. Second...any cheats to explore the rest of the game with? And lastly...is there any way I can change costs of units/buildings/etc...so it doesn't cost my entire treasury to maintain? Thanks for any help in advance. :)

well, you need to but GalCiv AP to get the map editor, it is part of the Exp pack.

If you went to edit all text files, you can. but don't forget that the AIs play the same game that you: if you are doing thing to help you, it can help the AI too. And that is not a good news if the AI already beat you.

Ok...I got my hand on some cheats...and editted the file for the ships...man it's fun. I love playing difficult settings...the challenges are awesome. I love spawning millions of colony ships and giving them to the AI...especially the Yor. Played it so many times...yet it's still fun...congrats on a great game SF. :CONGRAT:

personal, I think when you cheat, it takes the fun out of the game, I have never really played game much after i cheated on them but i guess some people like it.
