My guitar arrived today. 

I almost knocked the UPS dude over in my excitement.  I bought the box inside and busted it open to reveal my shiny new redburst guitar.

It's perfect.  It's a perfect fit for my hands, the tone is great...and it has that new guitar smell. 

I got online with my bud Steve-o, and we tuned it in...and I played the riff from 'down on the corner'.  he was impressed, even though I made a mistake with one of the fingerings. 

So, I went and I got me some more chords and tabs, and I'm sitting here with my headphones on, playing away as best I can after a couple of years of not playing.

My fingertips are red and sore.  I'm getting dents in them from the strings.

I could care less.  I'm happy.

Swwwweeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!! I remember my first git-fiddle. I can't play it worth a damn, but that's what got me started on bass, which I can. (at least once I get over the pneumonia enough to stand up, and wear a strap(mmm, i mean a guitar strap, of course)) I love music, and girls with guitars are hot!

It's not so hard....you just have to practice.  I can see a difference between my playing today and the furst day I got it...a definite improvement.

 

Girls who wear Converse Chucks and play guitar are even hotter...

There's no 'blushing' smiley face on here or else I have to use it....
