How to force upgrade to 1.20.087 of GalCiv using SD Central ?

I started up my Stardock Central today to update to 1.20.087. I noticed when I clicked upgrade it completed within half a sec. I also tried updating the PDF manual and multimedia and the same thing happened.

It appears that although SD reports I have the latest versions they haven't actually updated as the filedates haven't changed and no files were downloaded.

What has caused this problem ? How can I force an upgrade if SD Central already reports I have updated ? :(

Thanks,
Sean.

Try looking in the Stardock folder on your hard drive. They seem to be loading into Stardock\Drengin.net\galciv

I don't know why this changed, but it was recent.

I don't have this directory. My original game is the retail GalCiv.

My directory is - C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral

and the game is in - C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations

Barring deleting the game and completely redownloading and reinstalling from Drengin I am not sure how to fix this. :notsure:

Cheers,
Sean.

The actual directory is unimportant. That is the proper location for a default installation of the retail CD, incidentally, and both SDC and the retail installer allow you to change the installation directory (although SDC crashed trying to change AP's install directory during AP's initial beta release.

Hmm, mine must have changed when I moved the original Galciv to the E drive, then did an upgrade with SDC. I just figured it happened to everybody. :notsure:
