Can you get 1.2 anywhere else?

I am unable to update my copy of Gal Civ.

I get "Invalid serial number"
On Stardock I get "Unable to validate your account"

The serial number is Copy and pasted.
I can log on to Stardock with my user name and password.

have you tried to get the 1.2 standalone patch? i think there is one (link on galciv main page). maybe your account has finally been called to account?

Yes it does. How did you get it?

I will not be submitting games to the Masoverse.
The update was for my own amusement, but it is still the sailing season and I am only home for two days.
So I guess there is no urgency.

It will not accept my serial number, which I copied and pasted.
