I need my serial number.

I need to reinstall after having to reinstall Windows XP. Can any one help? I already requested my number from the support people but that was about 2 1/2 hours ago.

Through Stardock Central you can try 'Lookup serial number' under tools

I tried that and it said that it was sending my number to my e-mail address. I checkedd and it isn't there yet I get other e-mails. Now what?

If you haven't changed your email address, the serial number will show up. Sometimes it takes a little while for email to get through all the wires.

I got it today but Stardock Central says its invaled but the game installed with it. Can anybody explain how this could happen?

Are you sure you typed it right in Stardock Central? The installation is somewhat tolerant of typos, but the metaverse is not.

Make sure that you didn't have any extra spaces when you copied and pasted.

And make sure you are putting your GalCiv serial number into the GalCiv entry, not into the StarDock Central's Drengin.net serial number. That's a common mistake. I don't know if recent updates have made the numbers key off and report they are invalid in the last version of StarDock Central, but they didn't in the older versions.
