Shut Up And Color
Stay In Your Lane

Just some sentiments I've felt/expressed this week at work.
Shut up and color - Sometimes people just need to shut up and color. Sometimes, they need someone to tell them to shut up and color. However it works out, there are times in life where you just have to deal with it. Whatever 'it' is. Continued crying and whining without feasable solutions doesn't do anyone any good.
Stay in your lane - Pay attention to your own issues before you start calling people out on things you don't have positive first hand knowledge on. Instead of telling other people that they aren't right, why don't you make sure the people under your control are telling the truth and fix what they are doing wrong. AND, what's it to you how business is being taken care of in my lane? If we do things in a new or different way, yet still meet/exceed the criteria and standards, then let it go.
Don't crap on my lawn - Make sure you have your facts straight. Especially if you plan on telling me exactly what is wrong with my things and how to fix the problems you are sure are present. If I tell you I'm not sure, don't assume the worst. It means I'm not sure. I'll look into it and if I find a problem, I'll fix it. If I need help or advice, I'll ask for it. Make no mistake, I have no issue with asking for help. But, I don't need unsolicited orders on how to fix problems you know to exist based on the stories of pathological whiners.
The bottom line is don't blame me for problems that are completely internal to your things. If your people cry because they think my people are doing things better, tell them to shut up and color or have them do things better. Don't tell me how we're doing the wrong thing. Especially if all your going off of is the crying and whining.
