Metaverse Posting

I'm just curious, how long does it take to post your scores to Metaverse after you complete a game?
For me it appears to take upwards of ten minutes or more before I get a response. And I always have to hit Alt-Tab to get it. What happens is I hit Alt-Tab, and then the screen freezes, mouse still moves around so I know it's not a total lockup, and after about 3-5 minutes it will finally minimize the game. When I max it again, I have the standard success message and the score is finally posted.
I am running Windows ME (no remarks on that please...) and have a cable modem connected to a router.
I am just interested in seeing what the average post time is, the internet connection, and whether it's something that maybe should be looked into by Cari or if it's just something peculiar with my setup.

It's really not sending that much data. Name, serial number, score, version, etc.

Takes me about a minute max :)

It barely takes me the 3-4 minutes mentioned above and I am on dialup. This includes the alt-tab switching to log on and go back to galciv to post after I get connected.

I'm dialup and it takes around 1-2 min. from time I hit submit to time I get submission successful screen.

I never get the succesful completion screen unless I alt-tab to windows. Just to test it one day, I left the computer after pressing the submit button. 30 minutes later, it was still showing the submission screen without any messages. On that occasion, it crashed the computer when I used alt-tab. I think the game gets into some sort of network timeout if I don't alt-tab.

When I do alt-tab, it takes maybe a minute before it switches to windows. By the time I fire up SC and load the metaverse page, the game is usually submitted.

Can take me 2-3 minutes on dialup. Looking at the data transfer though it's not sending huge amounts of data at all.
