At work on Wednesday, my boss gave me a coupon for a full service salon visit.
"Wow!" I thought to myself. "I totally deserve a trip to a New York Salon!"
So today, I decided to get my hair cut. I told the lady I wanted a trim because I'm trying to grow out my hair. That part was fine, she only took off about a fourth of an inch, but here's the catch. Guess how much it cost without the coupon....$40! I was floored. I mean, I can see if I was getting my hair chopped off how it could accumulate to $40, but this was just a mere trim.
I don't think I'm going to get my hair cut in NY anymore. I'll just stick to my salon in Ohio that only charges $20....and i used to think that was expensive...
