Need Suggestions for a Harder Game

So far I like this game, but with all 5 races set to genius on a large map with scattered stars it's too easy. So please tell me which would be harder, scattered, loose, or tight, and what's the best size to play at? And of course I'm going to set the other races to incredible, but is there a way to set the minor races' intelligence level? I think I had 1 more question but I forgot :p, any other suggestions are welcome, I'd just rather not waste a few games experimenting and ruin my future fun factor.

What moral are the races set to?

This will have a much bigger factor than seperation.

Toughest is to set them all to evil and to play good yourself.

I find the hardest settings are a small or medium galaxy, all incredible, all evil. This gives very little room or time for the player to catch up with the major races. Survive long enough though and you can always win with alpha strikes (military or influence).

win a couple at the Masochistic level with all the AI's intelligence maxed out and then tell us how cool you are *wink-wink**nod-nod*

Your hardest game will be IMHO one opponent set to maximum intelligence of opposite alignment on gigantic size. He will have 80% of the map, hate your guts, and have little or nothing to distract him from chewing you into little pieces.
