how to submit scores and login from another PC

tryed to login from my second PC, although I entered the good e-mail and password, the forum sent me on a page to create a new account, so I'm stuck to post from only one PC ?

I'm still unable to submit scores to the metaverse

Fracassa said on another thread that when his submission is successeful, he has "submission test (or whatever) =5" and "error=0"
I have submission=1

subsidiary questions :
- if I save a game before winning, I load and win then I try to submit, is it possible that the metaverse refuses it because already sent ? the game has never been sent before
I don't know if I made me plain ...
I am saving my games just before the ending rush, so I will be able to submit their scores, with each of them I try to submit the score, get a submission=1 error=0 and no score in the metaverse

- I am a registered player, if I try to register again the metaverse accepts it !! same pseudo, same password ? shouldn't refuse the pseudo as "already existing" ?

also, I think that if you search for a nonexistent player the metaverse should answer "the player does not exist" or something

I ask for my scores (lhetre) it says there are no scores to show, I ask for a non existent player (pippoeminni) with the same answer

It should be possible to login from different PC's. If the password and e-mail is correct maybe its a firewall or something...anyway just to make sure have tried the "Forgot my password"-option

Slap me in the face if you have already been thru this, but have you checked that your alias and e-mail when you submit are exactly the same as the ones on your player profile ?

I login in from seperate computers daily (more than 2). No problems at all. Each time I just enter my email address and password on the top left hand corner.

I would guess that something is indeed wrong with your email and password. Your first computer was not still logged in? Not sure if this would make a difference or not.

As for submissions, I get submission = 1 all the time and this is successful. It sounds like your alias and id are being mixed up. There are a number of threads about this on the forum. Have a read of them as they may help (use the search function to find them).

I used the "forgot my password" and it sent me ... the login and password I was trying to use

in fact I registered from one computer but confirmed from a second one, is this an issue ?

good to see that it is possible to login from different computers for you (:(

if I try to create a new identity and player, what will happen when they see the game id number is the same ?

I'll try a research on the forum (again)

registering from one and confirming from another is not an issue. Stardock have a fairly open policy of allowing you to play the game on multiple computers (within reason). I have the game installed on my 3 computers depending if I'm at home, travelling or at work (I'm bad ;-)).

You may need to resort to sending stardock an email to find out what is not working. New identities are not a problem. new email addresses are!

tried again, first time got a "Echec test d'envoi" (submission failure), then a load of "ΓΏ" and then test=1 error=0

nothing for my player :(

finished the game again, send it by clicking twice on the button, failure again, but twice the failure message

last time I clicked on "forget my password" I received the password and pseudo I am using at the address I am using, so I think I am well identified ?

I have two computers, one for the kids which I use when guests arrive and my lair becomes a bedroom

stardock staff seems on holiday until january, well, just when I have time to play a little :CONGRAT:

another question : I'm keeping a saved game of all the (four until now) games I have finished, to submit them as soon as I'll be able to, but how the metaverse knows I'm not sending again and again the same game ?

PS almost all the other threads about submission failure are about different versions of the game (1.05 when the 1.10 was out), mine is 1.10, updated to 1.13 the game locked up the PC, I use only the files given by CariElf (and still have probs)

The problems with submitting seems weird, maybe something is wrong with you profile as Solitair said - better check this with the Stardockians when they get back.

The metaverse seperates each map, so you only get one score for each map, but you can resubmit the same map (and thereby improve already submitted score) once.

The lockup using 1.13 is that when playing or when loading a 1.10 game ?

the lockup is always while playing
since updating to 1.13 the game goes english but not completely, is my french version the issue ?


I have a new one : if I click on the planet "details" after loading a game I'm back on the desktop, but ONLY if I try to read the details immediately after loading :)

are there problems with W98 SE ?

I'm on my first normal AI level game :D

ok, this time the score's been registered

I changed nothing whatsoever, simply the metaverse took it into account ...

in a few weeks I'll switch to DSL, hope this won't mess it again :D
