Ice cream.

Middle of winter, but I'm still jonesin for ice cream. There's nothing like 5 scoops of classic vanilla with a half bottle of steaming hot fudge on it.

So with spring right around the corner, what are your favorite flavors or preparations of this treat that could unite the world if given a chance.

Now this is a thread I enjoy reading. Can we say brand names! Okay a certain someone and someone's half baked is SO good. Lord let there be an ice cream shop in heaven!
Boy SD, now you've got me wanting!

I'm saying brands. Haagen Dazs (spelling?) is my favorite. They seem to put 5 cups of cream in every pint. Edy's and Breyers are close seconds.

Haagen Dazs has a Chocolate Peanut Butter that gets me going out at midnight for a fix.

Local chain called Graeters (I've never seen more than 5 minutes of Oprah in my life, but I hear she gives it top marks) makes a raspberry chocolate chip. Bigs chunks of dark chocolate.....
Dang, Sleeping Dragon, I wasn't hungry 'til I read this thread.

Yeah, Bill, that is one of my favorite visual sites! Heh! Gotta TRY to stay away from the actual calories though!

Speaking of Baskin Robins, in the early 80's they had a Lemon Cheesecake ice cream that was to die for!! I used to go once a week to indulge in that almost sinful confection! But alas, they stopped making it. Perhaps I was the only one buying it? It's one I've never forgotten and wish they would consider bringing back. Yummm!
