No plans for Valentine

Valentine's day is in 4 days, and boooo! I still got nothing planned. Not like we need to do something. But it's supposed to be a special day for lovers right?

Darren is broke and so am I. But the feelings we have for each other dont need money, fancy restaurants and expensive jewellery to be sustained.

It's the little things that count. Like when he cooks breakfast on Saturday mornings. Or when I bring him a cold drink when he's working on his truck in the hot tropical summer we're going through. You know, little things that show we care for each other.

So i still dont know about Valentine's. We've been talking about having a game of pool just the two of us and pizza, so we might just do that. Talk about some romantic date!!!

Anyway, to all the JUsers, have a great Vanlentine' day :)

It's not about what you do, it's about who you are with. Just spending the time with someone you love. Contrary to what the marketing departments say, you don't need to spend anything.

Danny, ya nailed it! I know some people who would be angry at their partner for not doing anything special on Valentine's day. But isnt everyday supposed to be special when you love someone ?

scatter69, thanks for the wishes It's true that Valentine's is the day to celebrate love, i just think it should be everyday. It's the little things that count.

IG: I think so long as you are with the one you love, then you don't need anything else. Love should be celebrated everyday, in every way.
