It takes courage to…
Never mind, I don’t know what I’m saying
I have no courage,
At least not the kind worth taking note.

My courage is walking away
To shy away from the world
I see an open door, I run away.
I see an open window, I run and hide.
I have no courage.

I cannot face my problems
I could before
But not anymore.
I am lost in my own mind.

I have no courage…
So I have no right in calling you a coward.
If I cannot talk to you,
Then I am the coward

I cannot look at an open road anymore
And not wonder where I’ll go
The old me would run
Run as far as I could
And not care where I end up

I wish I could be me
But being me means I have to find the courage.
The courage to find me.
But where do I find it?
Can anyone give me the answer?

Help me find my courage again.

Webster's defines courage as-"a mental or moral state to face danger without fear"

I say that isn't quite it.....courage is the ability to face a situation no matter how afraid you are. That is courage. To find it, you must look inside yourself....find your willpower and apply yourself to a problem even if you're scared out of your mind. Courage comes from within....find it and you won't lose it so easily.
