SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!!

Eagles or Patriots?

How do you spend superbowl sunday?

Are you a football nut who follows the teams, their players, the stats, involve yourself in fantacy football, own 5 versions of Madden football for Playstation, 5 for Xbox, 5 for Sega Genesis, 5 for Nintnedo, and yes, probably even 1 for Atari, spends weeks, sometimes even an entire season anticipating the big day? Do you stock up on beer and wine and send out for pizza and invite a hundred friends over to munch out? Do you travel the country and attend games as proof of your "loyalty" to your favorite team? Do you go a sports bar to watch the games? Are you a tailgater?

Or do you feel like I sometimes do? That the programs in sports, from the Pop Warners and Little Leagues to colleges and the pros are an indication of the decline and fall of western civilization?

Confess one and all!

It's SuperBowl Sunday? I'm pretty much oblivious to it, except for the coverage I encounter in the general media.

I'd go for the clam chowder as well, but...

... the hubby and sons requested chili! Mmmm! It's on the stove and as hot and spicy as the pregame trash talk all week.

OMG people, this is THE SUPER BOWL I won't take the time to try to tell anyone the big deal this is for millions of people. I suspect there aren't many positive comments here because, like me the Football fans have been watching the pre-game stuff...

I have to put a plug in for the Eagles. I'll be watching and still be at the computer!
