How does belief in an all loving, all wise and all-powerful God fit in with the tsunami?
In my opinion, the tsunami will force us to re-think our purpose on earth. I believe that it will have a profoundly positive effect upon religion and upon human consciousness in the long term. Our religions are not centred around belief that we will experience Paradise on earth anyway, at least not in an external sense. Even though the tsunami might have made a few religionists nervous, there is a higher purpose, I am sure. A purpose that fits.
