Roll on 2005!
But where to start?

It's been nice having a complete break over Christmas and New Year. I have one skin started - which is reserved for my next skin pack - called 'Retro' (which might change), and I need to do two more for the pack. I'm hoping that will be out by the end of January. I also think that the good people here at WC will be listing a pack of my previous 'pack' skins on the Store page sometime soon.
In additions to that, I want to write a little VB app of my own which has a few buttons on it to play around with DirectSkin and it's 'Custom Button' facilities. I also need to update my website with some new graphics and make a new one for a friend of mine. And do some work on the home, and do more organ practise, the list goes on...
I have been thinking that it might be an idea to do a charity skin: one that people would have to pay for, but all the proceeds went to a good cause (not the Essorant beer fund...) I'm not sure how it would be best to collect payments, as my website skin pack payment site takes a hefty slice of the $5 you pay for one of my packs, and whether or not to enlist other skinners help (i.e. a skin and some icons might sell for more than just a skin), and I also wonder how much support it would get (e.g although my recent skin 'Moose' has had over 27,000 downloads, only 69 people have bought my last skin pack 'Refresh').
Oh well, better get on with the pixels.
Happy New Year!
