Xmas presents assessment

Okay some of you know i had a list for christmas. So here's an assessment on the list and a little comment on each wanted item:
1- I dont wanna be sick. I've had a couple of Christmases when i was sick. Everybody was having a good time while i was lying half dead on my bed. Not fun. At all.
Well i had the flu just before christmas which means i was on recovery. So i wasnt half dead on my bed: one good thing.
2- I dont want bad news on TV. It's Christmas! Supposed to be about family love & presents. Not war.
Some people said turn the tv off. I did that on Christmas but i forgot about it during the weekend and that's when we saw the huge disaster in Asia.
One bad thing.
3- I'd like to have my mum & Dad with me. But i guess this year it wont be possible.
Yes it was impossible (2nd bad thing) but i talked to them on the phone thanks to Glen who got me credit for about 1/2 hour talkin (overseas call). Not too bad. Second good thing.
4- I want my boyfriend to forget about his ex. She is coming back this Christmas and she's one of my friends. But he's not totally over her. I'm growing grey hair as I type...
Mmmh, this one's a bit tricky. He said the only thing that matters is us, she said he was at her place the next day she arrived. When confronted he said i was only saying hi, what's so bad about that. So this one is considered not a good nor bad thing.
5- I want a bigass teddy bear for Christmas. For when my boyfriend goes back to his ex and i'm left crying all alone. I would need something big and soft to punch without hurting myself.
I got a tiny teddy bear from a friend, and a bigger one from my boyfriend, really soft and cute and called tenderness: Awww, 2 good things.
6- I want a bottle of Vodka. Shmirnoff if possible. I would need something strong when he leaves me.
He didnt leave me so i guess thats good. But still we had vodka for Christmas, along with rosé wine, red wine, whiky, and champagne. Good things.
7- I want contacts. I mean if i wasnt scared to wear them, i would definitely want contacts.
Nope, no contacts, still scared of em: bad thing.
8- I wouldnt mind sunglasses. If i had contacts i would be able to wear sunglasses.
Well no contacts = no sunglasses. Bad bad bad...
9- I want a new bikini. That's my present for myself, so for sure i'll get that.
I didnt get myself a bikini, my boyfriend did when he was in Australia. Problem is even though he got a size 8 its still too big for me:( One good and bad thing.
10- I need a new pair of shoes. Mine are totally worn out. But i'll wear them till i cant. Man I love these leather sandals!
Gee, i thought about getting myself a new pair and then i totally forgot. Bad
11- I want a computer or laptop for home. So i can come on JU whenever and not just lunchtime There's hardly anyone around at my lunchtime. I miss all the fun
Heh, Santa totally ignored that request. Did anyone say too expensive?? SHUSH! lol Okay one more bad.
12- I really really really dont want to be heartbroken at Christmas. Otherwise I might not make it to New Year, and it would be such a waste if i get all the other things i asked for.
Aah, i wasnt heart broken for Christmas, so that s gooooooooood!
As a result i get: 8 good things and 7 bads. Mmmh, that's pretty disappointing considering almost half of it is bad.
But i got other presents:
A silky scarf (good, looks really classy and feels like heaven, from darrens mum), a britney spears perfume (bad: its britney, and seriously it stinks a sickening sweet scent, still from darrens mum), peanuts n peas (yummy= good, but for christmas present? ah whatever good! from darrens dad) and A vanilla scented candles set (good, from friends). Nothing fancy if you ask me but well appreciated
So at the end of the day i can consider Xmas 2004 as a success.
