Love Poem of the Day
The Joy Of Christmas
by Robert
December winds
Now blow again
The holidays are near
The season that
I love the best
Of all the rolling year
Love it seems
Now reigns supreme
Within the hearts of men
The world once more
Is at its best
As Christmas calls again
Once more the snows
Immerse the world
Into a wintry scene
Old man winter sets the stage
For frolic fun and games
We'll skate and ski
Perhaps a ride
A sleigh ride down the lane
We celebrate
These blessed days
As Christmas calls again
Today I seek a Christmas tree
We'll decorate the house
A journey to the vale below
Carefully I pick one out
An hour or more
Into the fields
Unto the forest glen
My spirits rise
I love it so
As Christmas calls again
A party at
A neighbor's house
Tomorrow night I'll call
Such delights
Loved ones and friends
We'll hug and kiss them all
We'll dance and sing
Eat far too much
Goodwill ore all the land
We've said goodbye
To care and woe
As Christmas calls again
Hot chocolate
By the firelight
Next to the Christmas tree
I steal a kiss
From a lovely Miss
Boldly for all to see
She stepped beneath
The mistletoe
Just part of the plan
Giving loving one and all
As Christmas calls again
