update to 1.05, but .exe file version shows 1.0.0.1

from Stardock Forums
did a forum search but no luck, I just wanted to make sure I had updated correctly, considering the verion number doesn't jive...thanks for help

...ok ... thanks... I guess...this didn't help a whole lot, I DL the 1.05 plus bonus pack, after install the exe file still shows old version...is this correct?

When you load the game, look at the "options" header (where the save, load, etc. options are). It will say what version you are on...something like Options 1.05.

That 1.0.0.1 is a default MSVC enters if the version is not set in the compiler, IIRC. Only the version listed in the Stardock Central client or in GalCiv's options menu is correct. GalCiv reports the just the major and minor revision numbers, the SDC reports the major revision, minor revision, build number, and alpha/beta/release status.
