Just curious as to why I can't seem to get scores posted to the metaverse... I know the ad blocker thing is a problem. How about being behind a firewall?

Hi Mike, I 've a firewall too, but no problems.
I think you need to be registered here before submitting. It was a long time ago for me, so I don't remember exactly what i did.

I too am having a problem posting scores. My first geme postes fine but now neither of the two games that I have completed since then have. Does any of the mods have an effect on that?

Did you upgrade to Drengin.net, Reffet?

Mods may get you an anomalous score but doesn't prevent you from submitting.

Only if you want the expansion beta, or other Stardock games

No Reffet. If you have upgraded, there is some conversion that you need to do before your scores show up. But since you haven't upgraded, it must be something else that is stopping your submissions.

Could be something to do with the fact that the game may not have detected that your internet connection is on.

I have cable, and I even went and pulled the endgame sav file and resubmitted (after loging in to the website) and still it will not go. I get the message that it was successfully submited but when I check, its not there. Could there be a port I need to open up on my Router?

Don't think you need to open up any port.

Are you behind any firewall? If so, you might want to disable it temporarily and try.

That's all the simple troubleshooting I know regarding submissions. If it still doesn't work, you would need to consult Stardock.

Reffet, FYI.

When using any security programs, firewalls, ad blockers, Norton Internet Security etc, please remember these programs are designed to prevent unwanted transmission of data and quite often they will block GalCiv Metaverse submissions as well. Please attempt to disable these programs before submitting Metaverse submission problems.

Ok no virus protection or add blockers on either, just tried again and now the endgame save is bad and will not load. Guess I will have to do another one and hope that it works then.
