I seem to have dodged that bullet.......... just updated, and rebooted, and all is fine.
| I backup on update so if someone can tell me which files to retrieve from my backup to restore the 3-5 days I spent modifying the menu I'd appreciate it. |
I think the file you're looking for might be desktopmenu.obbar
Hope that helps.
I overwrote the desktopmenu.obar as you suggested, and the main menu is there, however all the submenus (which are already in the bars directory) are not "connected" (don't know if that's the right word) to the command on the main menu. It also has lost the left side offset (font) on some commands but not the ones which have a icon associated.
| there's no way to 'save' a theme in the config dialog. The only time I'm ask if I want to save my setup is when I restart the computer. If I miss that dialog at shutdown, all my changes are lost. |
