GUI Replacer > Should Stardock have a look at this proggie ????

Found a GuiReplacer program and looking at the possibilities it might be something Stardock should have a look at.
I can replace more than the 6 AVI's we now have with WB and there is much more.

It depends if it hacks or not. It may not be as safe as WB.

Features of GUI2:
- You can select what file will be hacked (change explorer.exe, but no
shell32.dll).
- You can select will wmp9 or winamp or any other program will hacked.
- You can do module for only winamp! More program supports coming!
- Lot's of fixes and good error handling...
- Better windows integration, program will be integrated to windows system.
and it will emulate as Microsoft program, then it will not have so much
hacking problems and WFP problems.
- Better UI, for GUIR!

Looks to me like it's an automated way to do what the StyleXP folks have done manually since the beginning. All it does is replace resources in binary files. So, you can change the toolbar icons and such but it would require you to do this seperately for everything. Doesn't even come close to competing with anything WB does.

OK, it may not be as nice as WB, but it does have some options that WB can include in a next release.

BTW: I'm sticking with WB !!

I tend to avoid any program that uses the word "hack" in it's description.
