There are way too many high scores for mediochre skins however...

Still seems odd that skins that were 8 and 9 a few hours ago are now all 6 and 7...but thanks for looking Fuzzy.

Just took another look and some have gone even lower...maybe its just a case of skins that were initially overated settling to what they deserve...?

Yes, definately 2 or 3 cases of obvious "differences of opinions", but nothing alarming.  There is indeed one well known and respected skinner who recently went about and rated a few skins. Some he liked, some he didn't. Most certainly has different tastes than others though.  But comming from that person, one has to respect his opinion (sorry, can't say the name).

I noticed this also. I went to work and came home and I noticed some skins, yours , mine, and others had gone down at least 2 points each

Ratings do balance out and people do have differing opinions. You are all concerned about low ratings, there is one guy who puts a 10 on everything regardless, shouldn't that be a concern too? I wonder...

I have to agree...gratuitous or unearned 10's are no better...just easier to swallow,hehe.I have one WB with a 10 and its a poor recolor of a much better original with an appropriate 8.

Thats what brought it to my attention crissy...not just my skin but nearly all on the front page...and not just 1 point,which can happen easily,but 2 which is unusual.

it 'looks' then as tho someone underated stuff to pull it to what 'they' thought it should be.(and yes Fuzzy,theopposite is no better,just less malicious)

Hmmm... I usually get an 8 on my WB skins, and my newest one climbed to an 8 rather quickly, but when I visited WC today, it had dropped to a 7! > I also noticed that a lot of other skins had a drop in their ratings. The rating system really oughta be revamped. How about being able to rate a skin in several different categories? Then display the ratings for each category along with an overall rating based on the category ratings. THAT would be a lot more useful and helpful, especially to the skinner, so they might get a clue as to where improvements should be made, or at least get an understanding as to why their overall rating might be low. Of course, this new rating system would have to be implemented on WC2k5.

Today someone has maliciously put a '1' on the newest stuff. I've just removed those ratings. I'm not going to 'have a word' with the person right now, it's a quarter past midnight, I have a stinking cold, and I'm not on a good mood... Best dealt with tomorrow.
