in the theme theres a DX weather object and a DX calendar. the beetle clock is a sysmetrix skin...i may in time port the whole LS theme over to a DX theme...

Looks like my new LCD monitor supports that size.

One on each monitor.


Oh, while I was playing last night. The way you showed me. I made dupicates of the widgets and system metrix. Now I also have blue versions.

I managed to get the Widgets and System Metrix blue, is there a way to easily convert the LS theme to look blue like I have heard you talk about, or is that more complicated to do?

you have to change all the images to blue in the images folder. if you hue shift the green to blue tho.. you will have to recolor any "magic pink" back to pink... the pink in the images is the "transparent" color.

ok im still working on the meters widget... when i get done with the meters and finishing the 1280 res il see abt a blue version..(already had a blue version but lost it )

Thanks man,

I feel bad, I asked you to remake the resol;ution to 1024 and then I go bug you to get the higher res. Sry man. It's just that I usally use the 1024 but now that I have got the LCD screen I have found myself using the higher res.

Dont feel bad thou, I have two computers. The 1024 on one and the 1280 will be on the new. I cant wait.

The blue looks really sharp on the widgets and metrix. I have even learned how to change some other things around now that you showed me how to edit objects.

Im having a blast.

I dont mean to sound pushy or impatient. I just really like this theme. Please take your time. No rush needed. Your doing a great job. I am really enjoying everything.

Oh no!

After using this theme for a while I have come to realize one big problem with it. This really sucks to. Who would have ever thought this would happen. I have tried several different things and yet I have noticed that the problem still exists! I did'nt notice it untill this morning when I was surfing through the wincustomize gallery's and thats when it happened. Yup, this theme that I am using is so sweet that nothing I ever find will be better. SOo, now im stuck having to use it for now on.

Ahh what a great morning.
My new avatar fits me well. Just imagine the nut is the theme....If you have seen that movie then you know what that animal went thru to keep that nut. Thats how I feel about what I had to go through to get this theme...lol

Hey HG

Any chance that on the 1280 res version that you send me you can get virtual Desktops to work where the clock is. I want to keep the clock there, but also have the virtual desktops. Whatcha think? Is that possible?

Or is that something easy I just need to configure?

yes it is possible .. but will take some scripting to do. i will have to build a switcher to switch between "vwm view" and "Clock view"

Thanks for sending the 1280 version HG. I will post tonight to let you know what I think. I will also be uploading a screenshot soon to show my remix of it. I cant wait!

Ok

I couldnt wait till I got home so I installed it thru the remote desktop.

I noticed that there is now transparency on the menu. Thats sweet. Nice touch.
Also, for some reason things seem to bog down if I run object dock plus with the new version of that LS theme when I use the LS menu, even thou I have a gig of the good stuff. However, I won't be able to trouble shoot that until I get home. You know these remote connections are shabby at best.

Other then that, things appear to be ok.
