That is a application that Stardock anounced a few months ago.

When you are on the internet and from the site that you are on then, there wants to be installed a program or plugin.
Normally you can say that you trust or dont' want to trust this company.
However next time when you visit this site again, again this question will be asked.

With "never trust" you can tell "never trust" this company and then you will not be asked again when you visit again this site.

Just a quick note...

After installing SP2 Build 2180...

The built in IE popup blocker works amazing!

Almost like they described NEVERTRUST would!

Blocking ACTIVE X installation requests is
almost as if they dont exist at all!!!

Given what's been added to SP2, the odds are that NeverTrust will not be released.

Unless new IE don't have this "never trust" feature.

IE is special

Even with the functionality of WinXP Service PAck 2, and it's PopUp Blocking Software, not all of US use IE. Every Machine in my home uses Firefox, and has Plain Mozilla also (in case someone does not like FireFox.) After the latest IE Sec Holes, we just bit the bullet around my house and switched over.Now if "NeverTrust" is not viable because of Dev time vs. potential reward, that is acceptable, but just because IE's pop up blocking seems to get the job done, then a very big niche is being ignored. Seems I remember a little company that made a skinning product, for a Niche Crowd and NOW that very same CROWD, is the Mainstream and that little company and product are the defacto standard for that type of skinnable interface.

Plus, I'm not sure if or when I will get SP2. So far, I heard some problems about it.  My computer works fine right now and I see no reason to install something that will just give me problems where I was fine before. In a few months, when all thhe problems will have been ironed out, I may consider it, but right now I see no reason.

No problems here, I have SP2, runs better as far as im concerned.

Do you have problems downloading wba files?

Havent tested that yet.

Ive had problems with wba downloads before sp2 though, had to do a save target as extract etc etc.
