i need to know what program is the best for 3D effects ect.
and also apocalypse, i love your 'Luna' wallpaper but which program did u make it with. it looks like you used a wireframe?

There are a few good programs for 3D effects. Bryce is very good and a lot less expensive.
Luna was modeled and rendered in Bryce 5

Depends what you mean by effects. If your talking whole sceneries, individual objects or abstracts.

For example, for my battery DX widget, I used Swift 3D. Inexpensive and extremely easy to use. But I would only recommend it to model individual objects.
