New to the whole 'Skinnin Scene' and Needing avice ect..

Hey there! Im new to Skining and i'd love to learn the basic's.
I've got Adobe Photoshop 8.0 and Skin Studio and WindowBlinds and all the other tools (Cursor XP, Desktop X).
Now, i want to start with cursors as they sounds and look very simple, i have made a quick cursor on paint (which is good to be honest

) and i saved it to .GIF, .JPEG , .PNG and i STILL cant upload it to the cursor XP program!! I cant find What to save it to

. Just a little help is all i need

You need to configure it in cursorXP.

1-Open CursorXP
2-Click on the 'Configure' button on the top left corner.
3-The 'Option' button on the bottom right conner is going to change to 'Configure'. Click on it.
5-The configuration window will open. Click the 'Import' button to change the image of the pointer.
6-Click 'Apply" and then 'OK'
7-Select the next stage of the cursor eg. Help, Workin in background, etc
8-Repeat steps 2 thru 7
9-After you have replace all the images, click 'Apply'. Give your cursor a name and save it.

Have fun

BTW: save your images as .png with NO background.

MS Paint doesnt save images with transparent background. If you have PhotoShop make your images there. Remove the background or set the background to transparent before making or saving the image.

So MS paint has abusoltley NO ways to make it have a transparent background?
