thnx so much but i forgot to specify that i wanted it to be ablle to move files from a computer to another.

Most disk based mp3 players (even flash based players) have the ability to be seen by the computer as another, external, hard drive. You should be able to move files/music onto this machine and then hook it up to another computer and upload to the second computer.

look on ebay for 1st and 2nd generation iPods. Pretty cheap!
