Crash when looking at other civ's stats?

I have been playing this game for a few days now, and have noticed that every time I try to check the "Stats" page of the Foreign Affairs lists the game crashes to desktop. Is this a bug? Is there a patch to download to fix it?
I haven't yet downloaded the update online, but is this something anyone else has encountered before?

It happened to me as well. Every time I looked at the Arceans (sp?) stats, It crashed.

One possible cause: when a race is killed off, the game doesn't remove them until the end of the turn. Sometimes the game will crash if you try to check such a race's stats.

I had this happening with the Yor screen. But it was before I update to 1.03. Since I've had no problems.

I have the 1.02 patch and this happens to me as well. The download page on http://www.galciv.com/ only lists a 1.02 patch. Where can I find 1.03?

I think the standalone 1.03 patch is still being prepared for public release. You can get the 1.03.57 version by installing Stardock Central and then downloading it.
The program is quite stable and allows you to get all the updates that are made between standalone patches.
