My friends is ahving issues accessing multiplayer in sins of a solar empire rebellion!

thsi is the error message:

Me and my buddy had connection problems a while back. Verifying the game files actually fixed it for him.

Does your friend get this error right when launching multiplayer or after trying to join a lobby?
