Change language

from Stardock Forums

Start11 on my host (win11) is in english, but in my VM (win10) is in portuguese.
Both SO are in Portuguese, but I like to install every program in english.

I couldn't find any option to change the language... I tryed to uninstall and install again to see if any option would appear, but nothing.

And even in the host where start11 is in English, the update window is in Portuguese.

is there a way to change the language?

Oh... now after the updade everything is in Portuguese on the host too :(

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I understand, if you wish the application to be in English, you could remove the language file from this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11\lang. For Portuguese you can remove or just rename these files "pt.lng" for Portuguese-Portugal or "pt-br.lng" for Portuguese-Brazil. When this file not available for Start11 to load it will default to "en.lng" English.

Start11 matches the OS display language setting if a suitable translation exists.

It worked... I've deleted all files in lang folder, but seems that every time I update I will need to delete it again.

I'll create a .bat in that case.

Consider an option to change the lang forever :)
