well i replaced it and i dont see any difference

the black of the logo matched the black of the BG... I dunno???

i check the HEX numbers... alll zero's

see the background of the flag is slightly lighter thank the bg of the page. *shrug* anyway, gotta go, see ya later.

check the black inside the square and the color outisde it. anyway, gotta run see ya!

gonna make my own custom logo sooon...

nice, i like it, try making it maybe a little darker/more purpleish to match your bg images.

i see the difference. the logo has a redish background.

make sure the program you're making the graphic in is set for RGB.

even is your hex number is 0, it might be trying to swap it back on you.

when you save for web, check your color pallet, if its a gif. see if there is a red color showing up in there.. if so, and unwanted, just remove it. it should be replaced automatically by black.

if you can't figure it out, email me the file and i'll take a look.

if you can't see the difference, brigthen your monitor up

Styl....when you go to 800x600 you lose the integrity of your title bar graphics...other than that I like the design

wstaylor, note from the template.. clean, well seperated areas for navigation, content, and sub links. not that every site has to look like that but i'm glad you're taking a look at the templates/tutorials. its great stuff. i think the fireworks tutorial is one of the biggest eye-openers to what cool looking things you can do very very simply. you may think the samples are too flat, but..flat=quick loading time
