Connecting to a headless Windows 11 machine

Hello, everyone.

I am confused and trying to understand - I have only 2 machines.  The secondary machine I want to connect to is headless - no monitor, keyboard and mouse.  I added it to the primary machine's grid and the primary machines passes connection test.  However, when I hit the right edge of the screen with the mouse nothing happens.  Is this because I don't have a monitor connected to the secondary machine?

I can connect to the secondary PC through RDP without any problem.

Thank you

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just to confirm, you're trying to connect using KVM mode, Not Seamless, yes? Also you have installed Multiplicity v4 on both system?

Yes, of course I have Multiplicity installed on both computers.  One computer is primary, it has monitor, keyboard and mouse attached.  Secondary computer is headless, but it has Multiplicity installed and set up.  From the grid on the Multiplicty window on the primary computer I am able to pass the connection test to the secondary.  I am in Seamless mode, I don't have Pro license, so KVM is not available to me.

In Seamless you will need to have monitor attached to each of both systems. Only on KVM you can have connection to a secondary without a monitor.

Alright, my guessing was right.  Multiplicity shares mouse and keyboard, not monitors.

Yes if you refer to the chart below. Multiplicity 4 only support KM (keyboard and Mouse). You will need KVM mode available on Multiplicity 4 Pro
