ATI making cellphone video chips now?

wait you are talking about ram on the videoccard. so they are making video cards for phones? or the whole kaboodle?

videocards for cellphones, 2 mb ones. i have the rage 128 which is 16 meg.

isn't he buying an new 'puter....or am i confused as to who this is

yes, the computer i have currently, heck the one i will buy is alot better than this cell phone and will cost about twice as much

My attitude towards cellphones until I blewout a disc in my back last fall and was concerned about driving long distances and getting stuck out in the boonies with my back all seized up.

Ohhhh, I'm gonna overclock that sucker. I gotta get some custom cooling too. My games will play at an extra 2 FPS!!

...just wondering when (if) Stardock will be making skinning products for these phones

I used to thing mobile phones were pointless - till like Essencay, I needed one...now I just take keeping it with me for granted.

...and, since it has to be with me, it would be useful if it did more than just made and recieved calls - but instead of getting a wizzy phone, I have a Palm Tungsten T to do the fancy stuff and just use Blue Tooth to use the phone for the comms...it works for me, though it takes 2 pocket spaces instead of one that way
