Gravity warhead bugged

Jarrasul Evacuator's gravity warhead ability doe not prevent ships from phase jumping--or if it does, then it is extremely unreliable.  I have used it many times, only to have the targeted ships jump away with no consequence.  This is an annoying bug, as it significantly affects gameplay.

Thank you for the report ill see about getting this looked into

Can it also be looked into to re-balance it? Even when it works, it's too strong and overpowered when it's not buggy. I already made a post about this in the Feedback section.

Hey, could it be, that the player casts gravity warhead already after ships begin to phase jump? Gravity warhead prevents from jumps, but it does not interrupt the charge up of a jump. So if a ship already begun charging it's jump, it will continue doing so, even if a gravity warhead is casted

Yes I experienced that. Here's a screenshot I took. I hit the enemy with a Gravity Warhead shortly after they started charging their Phase Drive and disabled it, but that didn't break the Phase Jump, unlike SoaSE1 as I recall. It looked like they jumped while their drive was disabled, though it seemed like it took longer?

Jump While Phase Engines Disabled

Apologies about the double image - I've not played around with images here before and I'm not sure which image sizes work best - full resolution or 640x360   - Okay full version shrinks to fit, and clicking takes you to the original!

Agree.  The tooltip will say their phase engine is disabled but they will finish charging up (with their supposedly disabled jump drive) and jump anyway as if nothing happened.  It seems a bit silly and I am pretty sure that in SoaSE I this behavior did not happen.  The gravity warhead ability is much less useful if it only prevents an opponent from initiating even the charging up portion of a jump, since in most (or at least many) situations you can only catch up to a fleeing ship to even cast the ability when the ship is charging for the jump (at which point the current gravity warhead ability fails, even though the tooltip says it was successful).  This is very frustrating, especially given the antimatter cost and cooldown time of the ability.   It is fine for a ship to get away if it has already begun to actually jump, but if it is just charging up, then disabling the phase engine with gravity warhead should do what it says and stop the charging process for the jump.

Pretty sure this is because the skill itself doesn't interrupt the phase jumping so if an enemy is already in the process of phase jumping they will still jump. In Sins1 it did interrupt phase jumping in progress so I am assuming this is a bug.
