Windows Explorer

I don't know if this is a Stardock issue. Since I upgraded to Stardock v2.5.1.3, Windows Explorer uses up to 75% CPU and the screen shakes from side to side. If I use the Task Manager and restart Windows Explorer, it's OK for a while but it starts doing this again after a while. I did configure the task bar, in Stardock, to be vertical on the left side. I do not have any recent Windows updates.

What other software do you run in the computer?

Especially anything that adds extra bars or alters how windows maximize.

Is this new in 2.5.1.3 or were you not using a vertical taskbar before?

We have a beta 2.5.2 which may help too.

I always had the task bar vertical on the left on Windows 10. Now I'm on Windows 11 and it does no t allow you move the task bar, so I configured Start11 to move it. I didn't experience this issue until I moved it to the vertical left, it was on the bottom before. How do I get 2.5.2 beta?

Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version (Start11v2.52 Beta) available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products  . Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Looks like v2.5.2.0 fixed this issue. It's been running for 8 hours with no problems. I understand Microsoft is taking heat for not being able to move the task bar. Eventually I believe they will fix this. Thank You

Do you have any software which might add bars or docks to the screen or alter the taskbar?

Also how many monitors do you have?
