what happens if my motherboard isnt on the list that i choose from in the installation menu for MBM? i have a dell dimension 4600 with a stock motherboard...the motherboard says dell on it but theres no choice for my pc

You can try it, but it's probably an Optiplex board...which is not supported...

Then you may well be out of luck for now. I wasn't able to get it to work on my sister's Dell computer either.

You could try emailing Alexander or try posting a request on the MBM forum. The links for both are available on the mbm.livewiredev.com homepage.
