Some questions before a potential purchase

Hello,

I didn't know this application even though I’ve been using 'Start Menu' for years :).
I have a few questions before considering a purchase. I have two laptops (a personal one and a work one). When I want to switch to the second one, I move the Logitech USB connector.
With this software, we can use a single keyboard for both if I understand correctly. The presentation is not very clear.
So, I have a few questions:

  • Can a connection be made from one Keyboard to two Logitech USB connectors? I have doubts.
  • The software needs to be installed on both PCs, I suppose. Is it a one license by PC ?
  • The work PC is connected to work VPN
  • On the work laptop, we use a VM, and I cannot install anything on the host. Is that an issue? On one PC is Windows 11 (24H2) and the other Windows 10

Thank you for your help

Hello,
Thank you for your interest on Multiplicity. For your question, please review this documentation. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/2043641886/Multiplicity+4+UI.

Also, do know there is 30 days free trial available for new user to test it before purchasing it. Refer here: https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/

The Community Support person obviously can't duplicate your setup but your questions can certainly be answered by downloading and trying the software and putting it through its paces on your system. He also referred you to support documentation. That looks like an answer to me.

If you have Logitech Flow compatible devices (mouse & keyboard), you should be able to control both computers using the Logo Options+ software.

If you want to use Multiplicity, just download the 30 day free trial and, as Doc says, play around with it and see if it does what you want it to do.
