About Logons

Hi, Dudes. I'll tell you one story. Please advice!
I am siting in dads office. I am surfing in i-net. Then i go in this site, and download one logon. How to activate this log on(when i turn on pc it shows that logon)?
Ok that was 1st part of my story. 2nd part:
Then comes dad and turn on his pc. He are in logons place and see (for example) MATRIX logon. But he dont want it he want his booooring XP logon back! How can i put back original XP logon?
Please answer to this and the 1st question.

so you got the logon to work? also what type of logon are you using. the ones got here that use a program called logonstudio or ones got elsewhere that change systemfiles?

If you installed a Logon screen without the program LogonStudio, then it was a hacked ntoskrnl and you should not have used this.

If you have the program LogonStudio then simply run the program, and select the "Restore default XP logon" button.

Quite simple.

kiks91....if you replaced a file called ntoskrnl to get your logon to change then you'll need to first explain to your father that you have done something he 'may' not be happy about.

You will need to replace that file with the original one which is on your XP OS CD, though it will need 'extracting' as it is compressed.
