Object Dock Questions

Hi, im a noob windows customizer i have some questions...

How can i hide the recycle bin of the desktop? Because i would use only the object dock one

How can i put a link to my internet connection on object dock? I try to put a link to the .ink link that i have on the desktop but it doesnt work

Are there any other good sites like this?

Right click desktop > arrange icons by > then click where it says 'show desktop icons'. Do it again for the icon to reappear.

Create a new shortcut in ObjectDock. Right click the new shortcut > dock item properties. Copy and paste this in the link box- C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe Change the title to whatever you want and you're done.

You didn't indicate which version of windows you were using, but if you are using Windows XP, you can use Microsoft's Power Toys for Windows XP. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

The TweakUI.exe power toy will enable you to toggle (show/hide) any of the main system icons, including the recycle bin. It will also let you access a lot of other hidden user settings.

There are also powertoys for other versions of windows. Just go to the MS home page for the version you use and find the link. Or do a search on Google for Power Toys and your version of windows.

Essencay thanks for the link. I love finding new tweak proggies.

I have DesktopX hiding my icons (sometimes). I know not everyone uses it though.
