What is a Smart Button?

its a button that can do a variety of tasks. one example is to use them to do things with winamp. They are just buttons that can do special "smart" things that normal "dumb" buttons can't

If I understand what smart means in this case, I usually make media player buttons "smart" on themes I use. Left click gets you a control menu, right click is "next".
