More DX testers needed, please

These gauges populate automatically based on the number of drives in your system. They're SUPPOSED to reset themselves if you add or remove a drive. I don't have any removable drives myself, so i need someone with DX and removable drives to test them for me. Respond here or in #stardock, thanks much!

DT....this is what I tried. Let me know if you want me to try anything else.
I have 6 HDD partitions, 2 CD-Roms and a USB 6-in-1 Card Reader

Starting it up: no issues

Rebooting computer with DX set to auto start: no issues

Connecting a USB port 6-in-1 Card Reader while computer is running:
I get the following error

There has been a script error in object "InitDrive"
To correct the error, click "Disable and Edit" below

Object required: 'DesktopX.Object(...)'
Line: 45
Code:
(not available)

Connecting a USB port 6-in-1 Card Reader , then booting computer:
6-in1 Card Reader shows up as 4 gauges...one for each
slot it has, it also shows up that way in My Computer
(not a problem with your program, just annoying to see 12 gauges, 6 with
red X's across the screen and all 12 don't fit on a 1280x1024 screen)

Starting DX after 6-in1 Card reader is running:
Same as above.

Unplugging the 6-in-1 Card Reader with XP running:
crashes DX

Intermittent Problem:
No %x10 Drive E: or arrow for gauge for Drive E:

Essencay;

That script error is what i was specifically looking for, thanks! Will work on that.

i know the gauges take up a lot of space, that's on the to-do list to be refined (once i can get the bugs worked out )

The crashing DX has me worried...not supposed to do that (I would have expected a script error instead)

I experience that intermittent display problem, too...have ideas for a workaround for that

Thanks for the test!

Well, I'm at a loss. I have no idea why there is a script error there. I'll have to hand the problem over to someone more experienced in scripting DX.

Okay, script errors *should* be fixed now, as well as the intermittent graphic problem.

Test again?

DX crashed for me, when I plugged in the card reader after it was started and again after it was running and I unplugged the card reader. No script errors this time.

DT it's playing well with my cd-serv now also

though I didn't get any script errors before, it gets scanning the servers bay's constantly when I would change one cd for another...

So, no more script errors and no more intermittent graphic errors?

Cool!

No idea why it want to crash DX, though...gonna hafta ask Alberto, I think.

Thanks folks!

FYI...all the testing I did was with the latest released version of DX. I installed the latest Beta to try testing again, but the Beta wouldn't run at all.

Yeah for some funky reason the Beta just don't run on my computer

Okay, made a little mod...hopefully this will cur the DX crashing problem.

Okay I think that DX is crapping out on me. I'm now having problems with other objects I think going back and forth on the versions screwed something up. Let me make sure that I got it running right again before I try out your latest
